Raven is a Fort Worth, TX native. Her creativity, focus, and attention to detail began to show at an early age. A forever memory in her life was growing up & spending moments in the kitchen with her great-grandmother, who passed down the art of baking and sparked a life long love for homemade desserts.

January 2021, a few months after giving birth to her first child during the pandemic, she made the bold decision to shift paths. Though she had once planned to fully pursue her business as a cosmetologist, motherhood gave her a new perspective. She realized her passion had shifted — and so had her priorities. She no longer wanted to be in crowded environments and felt called to create something that aligned more with her gifts and fit in with her new lifestyle as a mother.

That same year, she launched “aDIGGtiveTreats” which later became “aDIGGtiveCakery” & is currently known as Raven Cakes & Company, a home-based cakery business built on love, family standards and the wisdom passed - and poured in - by remarkable women. Known for her moist & legendary cake designs, cupcakes, and comforting desserts, her dedication to quality quickly gained attention. Since its founding, her business has earned a DFW Best Baker Award in 2022, launched a recipe E-Book & has become an influence to new & coming bakers.

She is a wife, a mother, a faith-driven woman, and an entrepreneur who handles all of her roles with intentionality and grace. Her VISION for her business is to not only create beautiful cakes but to create a brand that inspires, uplifts, teaches and reflects the love and legacy behind every technique & recipe.
